Baby Quilt for Expected Grandson

Lord willing, we are expecting a grandson early this fall.

Of course I had to make a baby quilt.

The nursery theme is forest animals.
I found this adorable print at a local quilt shop
and fussy cut the little critters.

The back is minky and I selected a fun print for the binding.
My daughter thinks it looks like snake skin and she loves it!

Work continues on our "new" home, we've been here about 18 months. We are currently remodeling the breezeway between our dining room and garage to include the laundry area.  Lots of work, hubby has been very busy, but we are making progress.

No more carrying clothes to the basement, big smile!

Enjoy each day!

Very cute, that's a lot of fussy cutting but well worth it. The new grandbaby will love cuddling under that minky backing.

Beautiful gingham baby quilt! I love the fussy cut squares and so will your grandson, as he grows up!
