Remaking a Skirt into an Apron....

This apron was once....


this American Eagle skirt.


How cool is that!!!
And the skirt was free, so that's a big plus.


Of course the modern chef must check facebook while
waiting for dough to rise....actually I do that too, 
oh the wonders of portable computers.


It feels good to be back in my sewing room creating things.
Next up - a table runner :)

Oh what a darling apron. And how great to be able to create it from a skirt!
I wish I knew how to sew aprons. :o) I would have one for each new day. :o)

Great job! Some of the Christmas I gave this past year were aprons made from upcycling some thrifted dresses/skirts. It's a great way to use pretty fabric!
