Finished....for now

This box of scraps was full to the point that the lid wouldn't close.
There were lots (I forgot to count) of gallon zip-lock style bags full of scraps,
each bag held a different color.

I still have a bag each of black, off-white, white and novelty prints uncut,
these will be left as is for now.

I've been cutting squares.....this is my reward.

The start of a plain colored fabric box.

These are 3.5, 4, 4.5 & 5 inches.

Here are lots of 2.5 & 3 inch squares.

The leftovers will be used as strips or sashing.
I'm thinking lots of scrap projects are in my future....
fun, fun !

Up Next....
I'll be making my daughter a vintage inspired dress using this fabric and

this Simplicity pattern.

(more specifically the white dotted version)

Have a great weekend!
Carolyn

I like your forward thinking on pre-cutting squares of various sizes. I have several packs I bought on eBay a few years ago which sadly got put at the back of my stash cupboards. I'm in the process of reorganising them. I may just pinch your idea ;0)

Really enjoyed my visit to your blog.

Pre-cut scraps are the best! I started doing that, following Bonnie Hunter's scrap system a few years ago. Problem is, I'm not very good about doing it regularly and I still have a huge bin of scraps! LoL At least some are pre-cut anyway. :o)

Love the dress pattern... that's going to be awesome!
