Coaster Project with link to tutorial

I finally finished a Christmas present!
A fun easy coaster project,

I made the following modifications.
The directions call for 4.5 inch squares, I used 5 inch.
And instead of fusible web, I used iron on interfacing.
I also top stitched around the outside edge.

These match the kitchen accessories I made earlier this year.

Have you been working on Christmas projects?

Happy 1st weekend of December!
Carolyn

They look like a great gift. Have you seen those fabric trays? They are a square and then you sew the corners together.. That is a terrible description. That would make a cool holder for the coasters

very nice coasters! i have some fabric ones that I made a few years back and we use them more than I ever dreamed we would. I love that we do, too! So nice to sew something useful, practical and pretty.

thanks for linking up to finish it up Friday!
