Cathedral Window Mini-quilt

 Tried a new technique today.

The video is completed using 5" squares,
I used 3".  The mini-quilt measures approx. 15" square.

I used the "quilt as you go" method that's mentioned
in the video.  This is not a hard project but it is time
consuming. There are endless color options,
I used the same background fabric for each block.

Adding another mini-quilt to my wall is enjoyable
and addicting.

Now to find another mini-quilt idea.

I've made a few cathedral window quilts using this method and am getting ready to make some table runners. Yours is beautiful. I love your mini wall!

Hi Carolyn,
What a lovely collection of mini quilts! Your latest one is just beautiful but I think my favorite is the scottie - or the tree - or the pinwheels! I love pinwheels. I would smile at your wall every day, too, just looking at it. I'm already wondering what your next one will be . . . I have a mini sunbonnet Sue, a mini tulip with yoyos, and a dresden plate mini quilts now that I think about it. They are scattered around though - maybe I need to gather them in my sewing room! ~smile~ Roseanne

I've always liked the cathedral window quilts but they seem too time consuming and I know I would get frustrated. Maybe I should try a mini? I love mini quilt walls. So much fun and it gives us a reason to keep displaying our holiday minis year round.
