Since I finished this quilt last night, I was hoping to be able to
take photos in the snow.......but as you see
we did not get snow, just lots of wind!
The back of the quilt features 1 left over block.
Detail quilting of heart block.......
I posted a tutorial for this block here.
This is the first time I tried
free motion quilting feathers.....
I will be doing more of these.....love this look!
Corner quilting details.
And Ellie enjoying some time with Pappy.....
Enjoy the snow, if you have any :)

Is that really your first time with FMQ feathers? They look amazing!! Love the hearts, too.... great quilt!
Wow! this is a stunning quilt. Beautiful quilting. Its doesn't seem like you are quilting feathers for the first time. They are stunning!
Your free motion feathers are wonderful.
What a lovely quilt....
Love the quilting on this, especially the quilting in the corners. You did a great job!
Gorgeous quilt and awesome job of quilting! Your feathers really compliment your clean, simple heart pattern. Red and white is one of my all time favorite color combinations.
That's so pretty, Carolyn, and I love the way you quilted it! Whoop whoop!!
It's hard to believe that this is your first time quilting free motion feathers. They look amazing. It's a lovely quilt, but that sweet baby takes the show.
Beautiful quilting. Did you do it on a domestic sewing machine?
Beautiful quilt. Your feathers are really nice.
I'm impressed with your first time feathers, they look nice. i haven't had the courage to even try yet.
The quilting is lovely. I really also like the red pieced border. It's exactly what the quilt needed to sing!
This is such a lovely quilt! Your FMQ is amazing! First time?? Way to go! Beautiful!
I love your heart quilt, did you use a pattern or design it in your head?? I love hearts, so I would love to make this quilt. Your FMQ is great too!!
