Heart (a.k.a. Valentine's) Quilt Finished

Since I finished this quilt last night, I was hoping to be able to
take photos in the snow.......but as you see
we did not get snow, just lots of wind!

The back of the quilt features 1 left over block.

Detail quilting of heart block.......

I posted a tutorial for this block here.

This is the first time I tried
free motion quilting feathers.....
I will be doing more of these.....love this look!

Corner quilting details.

And Ellie enjoying some time with Pappy.....

Enjoy the snow, if you have any :)

Gorgeous quilt and awesome job of quilting! Your feathers really compliment your clean, simple heart pattern. Red and white is one of my all time favorite color combinations.

It's hard to believe that this is your first time quilting free motion feathers. They look amazing. It's a lovely quilt, but that sweet baby takes the show.

The quilting is lovely. I really also like the red pieced border. It's exactly what the quilt needed to sing!
